It is, to this day, my best performance. I LOVED the medieval time period as a kid, but, you know, more-so the knights, princesses and castles rather than the actual plague. When Candlewick reached out for help in promoting <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/candlewick.com\/cat.asp?browse=title&amp;mode=book&amp;isbn=0763698482\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><i>Knightology<\/i><\/strong><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, I was reminded just how much my twelve year old self would love this book!<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><i>Knightology is<\/i> a <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2018ology<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> book from children\u2019s English author Dugald A. Steer. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Ologies are a series of illustrated fantasy books, including the magical <em>Wizarology<\/em>, <em>Monstorology<\/em>, and <em>Pirateology<\/em> &#8211; to name a few. In <em>Knightology<\/em>, Steer presents a tell-all guide to the mythical occupation of knighthood. Kids will learn all sorts of fun stuff &#8211; from the the skills needed to prevail in a jousting tournament to the ins and outs of a castle a knight might defend. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1570\" src=\"http:\/\/adbiblio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/Knightology-300x250-1.jpg\" alt=\"Knightology 300x250 (1)\" width=\"265\" height=\"221\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To narrow in on the best audience, we focused on parents of children ages 10+, grandparents and librarians with a strong interest in medieval history, legends, myths and fables &#8211; and even fans of Game of Thrones! We paired this with our lexicon targeting &nbsp;keywords like knights, Sir Lancelot, Excalibur, Robin Hood, King Arthur, and other fun medieval talk. And with the holidays coming up, we knew that targeting children\u2019s book buyers and holiday shoppers would add the final touch!<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1577\" src=\"http:\/\/adbiblio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/Knightology-livescience-1.png\" alt=\"Knightology-livescience\" width=\"257\" height=\"434\"><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Because this is a niche children\u2019s book, we were interested in discovering which traits performed best.
