Drawing on her role as leader of the community, <em>Fat Girls Hiking<\/em> is part guide and part memoir, with wholehearted advice, inspiration from plus-size hikers, trail insight, and much more! <em>Booklist<\/em> calls it a \u201cAn invaluable guide\u2026Kudos to the author for changing the narrative on inclusiveness, breaking down stereotypes, and building body positivity.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/adbiblio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/FGH_1200x627-700x366.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3730\" width=\"424\" height=\"222\" srcset=\"https:\/\/adbiblio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/FGH_1200x627-700x366.jpg 700w, https:\/\/adbiblio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/FGH_1200x627-240x125.jpg 240w, https:\/\/adbiblio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/FGH_1200x627-768x401.jpg 768w, https:\/\/adbiblio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/FGH_1200x627.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 424px) 100vw, 424px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p><br>The AdBiblio book advertising campaign for <em>Fat Girls Hiking <\/em>focused on women ages 18+ with traits and behaviors like: hiking enthusiasts, activists, feminists, those with a strong interest in diversity and inclusion, frequent book buyers, self-improvement seekers, nature and outdoor enthusiasts, and those with a strong interest in community and social advocacy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We targeted online ads to readers who are fans of comp authors including Louise Green, Jes Baker, Nicole Byer, Roxane Gay, Lindy West, and Virgie Tovar, and podcasts like <em>Every Body, The Fat Lip, Do No Harm,<\/em> and <em>She Explores<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ads also sought out people reading articles with relevant terms and phrases like <em>fat activism, body liberation, safer spaces in the outdoors, self-care through nature, positive books for fat women, fat positivity books, plus-size hiking, FatGirl Yoga<\/em>, and much more!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/adbiblio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Screen-Shot-2022-07-10-at-6.18.08-PM-700x423.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3732\" width=\"-82\" height=\"-49\" srcset=\"https:\/\/adbiblio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Screen-Shot-2022-07-10-at-6.18.08-PM-700x423.png 700w, https:\/\/adbiblio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Screen-Shot-2022-07-10-at-6.18.08-PM-240x145.png 240w, https:\/\/adbiblio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Screen-Shot-2022-07-10-at-6.18.08-PM-768x464.png 768w, https:\/\/adbiblio.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Screen-Shot-2022-07-10-at-6.18.08-PM.png 1340w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p><br>This campaign leveraged our classic mix of native and banner ads across top-tier sites like <em>Refinery29, Bust, Jezebel, Backpacker, Buzzfeed, NY Times, She Knows<\/em>, and more. Finishing at an impressive .26% CTR overall, the ads made an especially strong impact on people who are passionate about hiking (.68% CTR!!), our AdBiblio read alike audience (.32% CTR), and those with a strong interest in diversity and inclusion (.52% CTR!).
