They choose to make her favorite empanadas, hoping to recreate the magic of Monona\u2019s cooking, even without her secret ingredient. Additional traits and behaviors included picture book buyers, children&#8217;s book buyers, Latinx influencers and followers, parents and grandparents interested in Latinx history and culture, children&#8217;s gift shoppers, and more! Comps included similar Latinx children&#8217;s authors like Meg Madina, Gabi Garcia, Yuyi Morales, Isabel Quintero, Juana Martinez-Neal, Junot D\u00edaz, and Lucky Diaz.
