I have yet to meet a great rom-com that I haven’t liked \u2013 especially one filled with awkward meet-cutes and lots of laughs! We loved teaming up with Sourcebooks to help reach romance readers, BookTok enthusiasts, and more for How to Find Love in the Cereal Aisle<\/em> by Alissa DeRogatis<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

In How to Find Love in the Cereal Aisle<\/em>, romance author Ainsley Green is struggling with a broken heart and a serious case of writer’s block. With a little encouragement from her best friend, she decides to take matters into her own hands by staging real-life meet-cutes in hopes of finding inspiration (and maybe even love!). But after a series of hilariously unsuccessful attempts, Ainsley starts to wonder if the romance she’s been looking for has been right in front of her all along (this trope never gets old to me!).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For this campaign, we aimed to reach women who are avid romance, new adult, and fiction readers and book buyers. We also layered in traits and behaviors like rom-com enthusiasts, Goodreads users, BookTok and TikTok users, book club members, summer reading enthusiasts, and romance book influencers and followers. Comp authors included Emily Henry, Ali Hazelwood, Christina Lauren, Abby Jimenez, Katherine Center, and Tessa Bailey, along with keywords like contemporary romance, rom-com books, romantic comedy novels, and modern dating stories.<\/p>\n\n\n

We created a custom video ad for the campaign (at no additional cost!<\/a>), which wrapped up with a 0.70% CTR \u2014 1.17x our video benchmark! The ad appeared across top sites including She Reads Romance Books, Cosmopolitan, People, Us Weekly, The Everygirl, Bustle, The New York Times, BuzzFeed,<\/em> and USA Today<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The top performing audiences included women who read romance, new adult, and fiction books while browsing gaming and entertainment apps on mobile devices (an impressive 2.10% CTR!). Our exclusive genre read-alikes also performed particularly well at 0.90% CTR, followed by romance and fiction readers browsing news and entertainment content on tablets (0.79% CTR). Other top-performing audiences included Gen Z women who read romance and fiction (0.67% CTR), historical fiction readers (0.66% CTR), and millennial moms and single moms who read romance books (0.60% CTR).<\/p>\n\n\n
